In terms of works, there is no fixed and unique budget envelope. In the case of the renovation of a bathroom, the cost depends on several factors: level of the range of the new equipment, possible replacement of the coverings (tiling, painting, etc.), state of the plumbing, possible modification of the circulation space. Although each project is unique, there are however two types of renovation: partial (or light) renovation and complete renovation.
A partial bathroom remodel is one that refreshes the current bathroom without making any structural changes (walls, dividers) or substantial plumbing changes. There is also a sort of remodeling known as “light,” which involves simply tiling work on a certain area of a room, such a bathtub, shower, or sink.
To modernize an old bathroom or substitute one equipment to another, or something like a tub with a shower is usually the major purpose of partial renovations.
Plan a finances of roughly $680/m 2 for this sort of project using mid-range items. As a result, the total cost of remodeling a 5 m2 bathroom is about $3,400.
The complete bathroom renovation consists in “laying bare” the space in order to modify it in depth: redo the plumbing and electricity circuits, replacing the joinery (doors, windows) if necessary, insulate the room, install a ventilation system, partition, and reorganize the space, install coverings (tiling, painting), and, of course, install new equipment (bathtub, shower, cabinet, etc.)
If you want a complete bathroom renovation, plan on an overall budget of between $ 1,400 and $ 3,400 / m², depending on the scope of the work and the quality of the equipment chosen.
Highly recommended. Emerald small bathroom remodels works were on time, on budget, and each team member took real pride in their work. We had three bathrooms renovated and were quite pleased with the results.
